Combine SMS and Whatsapp to convert more customers!

Now you can set up your own flows with combination of Whatsapp and SMS method to run SMS marketing for your store.

Go to Abandoned cart recovery-> Whatsapp Flow

Click Edit in Highly converting Whatsapp x SMS Flow

Whatsapp x SMS flow (recommended by SMSGem).

Take an overall look at how the flow work:

When customer abandoned their cart, after 10min, SMSGem send them a remind to their Whatsapp account. Then after 30mins, if customers don't open the Whatsapp message, SMSGem send them one more SMS.

Start trigger

• Select your segment: All customers, specific customers or customers in target countries.

For example, you only want to send to buyers from US, search and select country your desired countries.

• Choose minimum cart value items to trigger abandon cart flow

Minimum cart value: is the minimum number of products in the cart that customer abandoned. For example: You only want to SMS to customers to abandoned 3 products in cart, set Minimum cart value equals to 3. SMSGem will send SMS to customers who abandoned 3 or more than 3 in their cart.

Set up Whatsapp message

• When click block button, a pop up will appear allow you to edit content, change delay time.

• You can use our content templates

SMSGem note: Using our content templates ensures the high delivery SMS rates.

List of variables are auto-synced from your customer infomation.

Discount code: Discounts code are auto-synced from your discount in Shopify. Read more.

Set up second SMS

• Set up delay time after sending your first Whatsapp message. This mean after sending Whatsapp 30min, we'll check if customer opens Whatsapp or not.

• Set up your SMS content, also delay time to send SMS.

Save Flow and Turn it on to make it work.

Create your Whatsapp x SMS flow

You can also set up your flow by editing our flow by delete delay, add more flow and send more SMS/Whatsapp.

SMSGem note: If you're running another Abandoned Cart Campaign, you have to turn it off in Campaigns before using new campaigns with WhatsApp and SMS.
